Kim is really focused on alignment, constantly making suggestions, giving instructions and adjustments. What I like about yoga is that it’s good for my body, and only if you practice it well. I find a lot of other classes to be all about power - really fast paced, not much emphasis on alignment and just about working up a sweat. I’ve been practicing yoga with Kim for about a year and I absolutely love her teaching style. I help employees gain a sense of inner calm, a strong, yet flexible body (and mind), and the ability to succeed at work with clarity and power. I aim to make yoga accessible, yet profoundly beneficial to those new or experienced to yoga. It is enriching and exciting for me to bring yoga to people in their office. I have worked in the corporate world and understand the physical and mental tension that can build from continuous sitting, exhaustion from long hours, and even stress from work travel. Kim has appeared on the cover of Yoga Journal Magazine in 2011/​12, and is a Lululemon Ambassador. Kim’s mission is to spread health and happiness to companies who are changing the world while making sure each class is accessible, grounding and fun! She teaches an approachable, deep style of Vinyasa that safely challenges the body and soothes the mind.īy adapting her teaching style to the needs of a variety of groups she offers: stress reduction through breath work and stretching or a vigorous strength building practice.
